Perfect wedding photos make your day timeless. Fifty years from now, you’ll look back and relive the hope, love, laughter, and joy forever reflected on the faces of your family and closest friends. My style is more natural, capturing the best of who you are. It’s posing with a candid feel.

Each package comes with a complementary engagement session and an example of a wedding day timeline to help you with your wedding planning. This will give you an idea of how long each part of the day takes to capture. Once I here your wedding day plans, I can put together a photography schedule for your day to help things run smoothly.

Engagement photos are a fun way to get to know each other before your wedding day and the session helps couples get comfortable in front of the camera. An engagement photo session also provides an opportunity to review shots or angles you like or don’t like, making sure we capture exactly what you’re looking for. The pics you love make great personalized wedding invitations and can be used as part of your wedding day décor.

Your finished photos will be sent fully edited and print-ready, available digitally through an online gallery that you can easily download approx. 6 weeks after your wedding date. The number of images you receive is dependent on your package. I do not limit the number of images, usually you will receive about 500-800 images for an 8 hour day of coverage.

MY PROCESS

1. Lets meet up!

For a fun experience and authentic images, we need to be a good fit. We’ll meet, get to know each other, and discuss what is important to you on your wedding day. I can walk you through my processes and give you tips to get the most out of your wedding day photography. I’ll ask a lot of questions because I want to ensure that my photos are precisely what you’re looking for. It’s your day and your experience—both should be incredible!

2. Secure your date.

On average, couples are booking wedding photography services 12-18 months before their wedding date.

Not going to lie, Okanagan weddings book up fast! The most popular wedding months for are May, July and September. Our picturesque lake, sandy beaches, expansive vineyards, and charming orchards are too good to pass up. Once you know that you’d like to work with me, we’ll need to secure your date. It’s easy! All I require is a 30% deposit, and a signed contract and the fun begins!

3. The engagement session.

All of my wedding photography packages come with a complimentary engagement session; it’s like a practice run before the real thing! Engagement photography sessions are also a great way to get rid of any nerves you might have about being in front of the camera. My goal is to make you feel entirely yourself and comfortable in your skin. After the session, you’ll have beautiful engagement photos for your wedding website, invitations, or to share with family and friends.

4. The bridal questionnaire.

I reach out a few months before your wedding date to finalize all the wedding details with you. The easiest way of doing this is by sending you a bridal questionnaire. A quick digital form to fill out that will help finalize timelines and all the details to make your wedding day run smoothly.

5. The big day!

The day you’ve been planning and patiently waiting for is finally here! Today is all about you, and my job is to help you enjoy every moment while capturing every detail and the best of you and your loved ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many images do I get back from my wedding day? Are all the images edited? Are they high resolution?

Images you will receive from your wedding day depend on how many hours you would like me there. A full day of capturing usually produces 600-800 images. All images you receive are edited and high resolution.

How are files sent?

Wedding photography photo files are sent digitally through an online gallery.

What is your turnaround for receiving images?

6 weeks to receive a beautiful gallery of the images from your wedding day!

How far should we book in advance?

Kelowna / Okanagan is a popular wedding destination so dates tend to book up quite quickly. I recommend you book 12-18 months in advance.

How much time should we schedule for photos between the ceremony and reception?

Ideally it is great to have at least 2 hours between the wedding ceremony and reception. this gives you about 30 minutes for family photos on site, following the wedding ceremony and about 1.5 hours for bridal party and bride and groom portraits on or off location. Depending on the location we discuss for photos, it is good to keep travel time in mind as well. I can help you with a timeline to maximize your time for photos.

Do you add your watermark to our wedding photos?

No, I will never send your finished photos with my watermark on them. These photos are personalized to you.

My husband and I had this wonderful, talented lady capture our wedding this past July. After finding her portfolio online and a few (very helpful) messages back and forth, we decided to meet with Kristine for coffee before we made our final decision.
