I met James & Julia last year when I did their engagement session which involved them getting in a canoe on Skaha Lake. Their wedding was nothing but spectacular. It was a beautiful Okanagan sunny day.. The ceremony and reception were held outdoors at Painted Rock Winery in Penticton. James and Julia are one of those couples who have that perfect natural pose in front of the camera and with each other with was so great!
I had such a blast with this wedding. Sam & C J’s wedding was at the beautiful Lake Okanagan Resort. The ceremony right on the beach. I love the emotions that were captured during their day. Every part of it was beautiful and memorable.

Some highlights of the Oshaski family’s photography session. If you are curious on what I do for large family sessions, they look a bit like this. I start off with the individual couples and then group them all together in a large shot at the end.
I met with the Oshaski family at one of my favorite locations, Bertram Creek Park in upper mission. This place has so many beautiful photographic spots, and I always end up seeing some kind of wildlife during the shoot. In this case it was a mamma deer with its baby. So cute!
I love being able to do random, creative photo shoots every once in a while to work with my creative abilities and develop new skills. For this session we basically drove downtown until we found a spot suitable. The challenge was working with a small area that I loved and not allowing the busyness of the surrounding neighborhood to be seen…..and also doing this within a 15 minute time frame. Can you guys guess where this location is??
