I joined up with Tom & Margaret at Burrowing Owl Winery in Oliver for some family photos. It was all of 36 degrees out so we tried to stay in the shade best we could. Burrowing Owl Winery was stunning, incredible venue and incredible orchard views. We made a quick stop on the way out to Haynes barn, another unique location in the area. Lucas turns 1!! Dan & Alyssa are good friends of mine and I was quite excited when they asked if I would do some family photos for them for Lucas’ 1 year. It has been a pleasure seeing this little guy grow up, so full of smiles and personality. We headed to Kalamoir Regional Park in West Kelowna for our little photo adventure, toys and all. Alyssa hand made this beautiful tee-pee you see in the photos just hours before our session, super cute! Lucas’ second outfit is my favorite, made by a talented company, Olive•me Handmade. We ended our session down by the beach, Lucas absolutely loved the sand.
What a wonderful grad afternoon. I had the lovely opportunity of photographing the celebration of Brady’s graduation with his friends and family. Its neat to see how to trends of outfits change every year, I loved all the colorful dresses and choices of suits. Stephanie wanted to do something special for her parents and got them a family photo session with me. They were all an absolute delight to photograph. We headed to Kalamoir Regional Park in West Kelowna which was convenient as they are locals to the area. The rain held up just long enough for our photo shoot and allowed for everything to be lush and green. Even though spring is unpredictable with weather, the rain allows for a beautiful green forest setting, one of the reasons why I love shooting in the spring. Check out some of the photos below.
