ABOUT

As an artist and storyteller, I aim to capture the emotions of a moment—the hope, love, laughter, tears, and joy that are part of everyone’s life, of everyone’s story.

Kelowna Wedding & Family Photographer

I’m Kristine, and I’ve been professionally photographing weddings and the memorable occasions of people’s lives for over a decade. My role is to not only capture and make your events timeless but also to help design an experience that is stress-free, fun, and authentic. As a natural people-person, I’m able to make being in front of a camera relaxing, enjoyable, and easy.

My love for photography began in high school; I discovered it was a unique and beautiful way to connect with people.

Taking a person’s photo is both social and private; you need to engage with and understand the person you’re capturing in order to reflect them truly. I completed my Diploma of Digital Photography at Centre for Arts & Technology, and in 2012, decided to start a business as a professional wedding and family photographer. I wanted to use my natural gifts to put smiles on faces and capture the joyful events in people’s lives.

I’m blessed to live in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. There’s a reason that couples come here for their destination wedding—rolling hills, charming Kelowna vineyards, and quaint lakeside docks flawlessly compliment mingling guests, wedding party antics, ceremonial kisses, and (of course!) I-dos. I live in the best outdoor wedding venue there is!

It’s among the magnificent, wide-open spaces of Kelowna that I’m fortunate to spend my spare time—hiking, camping, hanging out at our many beaches, enjoying local food, and simply doing life with my community of family and friends.

If you’d like me to capture your story—be it an engagement, wedding, new arrival, or family session—let’s chat!

MY PURPOSE

My purpose as a business owner and photographer is to use my God-given gifts as an artist and storyteller to bring joy into the lives of my clients.

This is why I love being a wedding and family photographer.

I’ve been the girl who said “yes,” the bride walking down the aisle, and the pregnant lady anxiously waiting to welcome a little one to our home. I completely understand the overflowing joy that occurs from those moments, and the desire to preserve each and every detail in your memory.
